The Challenge
The SMB marketing team needed a banner set for a small business acquisition campaign, with messaging tailored to the specific concerns and language of small business owners rather than the enterprise audience the brand usually addressed.
What We Did
We rewrote the brief to centre the small business owner perspective, then built a banner set with messaging that spoke directly to their concerns: time, simplicity and trust. The visual approach was deliberately warmer and less corporate than the brand default.
The Outcome
The SMB-specific approach outperformed previous generic banner sets in testing. The messaging framework was adopted as a playbook for subsequent SMB campaigns.
